For Tom, harnessing the power of his competitive nature and putting it to maximum use is not only what helps improve his golf game, but it’s a personal philosophy that has always been the driving force behind his success.

Once A Competitor, Always A Competitor
Since his first year in high school, and long before he had discovered golf, Tom’s competitive nature came to life on the tennis court. Playing both singles and doubles, his burning desire to win drove him to the top of his high school tennis program, helping his team finish with a record of 110 wins and only four losses, which became an Urbana High School record. And while most people would be satisfied with that, Tom took it to a whole new level at Ohio Northern University where he played number one singles and doubles, then went on briefly to the professional circuit before setting his sights on business.
Same Rules, Different Challenges
Tom’s deep-rooted entrepreneurial spirit is the driving force that gets him out of bed every morning. As he likes to say, “I wake up thinking about the possibilities of what today can bring, not dwelling on the problems I might encounter along the way. To me, problems are just carefully concealed solutions challenging me to find them.” Whether it’s on the court, the back nine or playing Texas Hold ‘em poker with friends every week, Tom puts a little friendly competition into everything he does.
Driven To Win
Tom has a deep inner drive to help maximize his clients' opportunities.
